GATHERING THE SCATTERED STRINGS:-

The warmth of the 1st sunlight of the day touched my soul;
As I walked near the blooming rose bushes,
Covered with red buds,
And the little pink ones----- fully bloomed
Like little pink stars;
The morning breeze played with them,
Sun’s golden rays lit up the world,
The birds chirped here and there;
I stood alone at the little paradise of love
With my wounded heart----------
He broke the strings of that lyre
That once played songs for him;
That once felt it was born to be for him;
Yet he rejected those tunes, those strings;
He left it wounded-----------
With that I stood;
I was not afraid to lose anything,
For I have lost everything forever;
But the breeze pushed me towards the roses;
It played over my shoulders,
As the warm sunlight gave its healing touch;
At the corner I noticed the little clitoria----
She had twined round a single pole of bamboo.
Weak though she was,
She bore a blue blossom;
I ran to my green friends,
Touching the velvet soft petals around thorns;
I sensed the rhythm of the breeze, sunlight and the chirping birds;
The spark of my smile
On my pale face made the tune complete;
I found a new rhythm-------
As the dawn paved way to the brighter day,
I looked forward to the new strings
To get revealed,
To complete the whole tune;
I started looking forward to a new day----------

Play Of Silence

In silence I have loved you,
My eyes have looked at yours in silence that evening;
They did not blink----- no sound slipped away;
Like the dark evening sky whose depth remains in silence,
When the white jasmine blooms---- leaving her aroma only at the break of dan;
Such way --- bloomed my flower of love for you;
In silence--- a depth hard to reach;
In silence I breathe--- in silence I cry;
My love surrounds you like a silent tune;
A silence--- that can be broken only by the harmony you bring to it;
For years--- through eternity shall I love you;
In silence--- till you can hear the tune;

The Moon and Heart

Throughout the day she conceals herself behind the sunlight,
Starring at the brown land;
The waves break against the shore,
Sending her messages every moment;
Its only in the darkness she reveals her form;
The silver moon ---- trying to light up the land;
The waves roar, the waves rumble,
They come and retreat in vain;
Leaving traces of their white foam;
As the lonely moon stares at her beloved;
Transcending beyond time and space-----
She stares, and waits for her love
As the white beauties reflect her cries and words;
Such is my heart------------
Like the moon I wait for you,
As the waves break peace in my heart,
Every moment I spend in the cycle of hope and hopelessness;
